  • 19 family members gathered together for a Family Reunion Dinner for Ruth. It was her special dream - to have dinner with her entire family.
  • It was Vivian's first time on Skype, and she was able to see and talk with her son in FL.  She also met his fiancee for the first time over Skype.  Her dream was to see her son
  • To visit gravesite of Mother and place a wreath on the grave.
  • After 1 & 1/2 years, both Stella & her daughter were very happy to see each other. I set up an email account for her so Stella can communicate with her more often then she had been.

  • Teresa had the dream of giving a baby shower to her daughter. "Grandma Teresa" is a young member of our Assisted Living community, but her dreams count too! With the gracious support and assistance of Southern Care Hospice and our local Walmart, we were able to provide a fun baby shower with games and prizes, fantastic food, beautiful invitations, balloons and streamers,and even a few small gifts for baby and Grandma!   • Gene's granddaughter got married on Saturday October 9th and the Thursday before the wedding she asked him if he wanted to attend and he said,
  • Rick Toler and his daughter, Brianne, reunited! Rick was deployed to the Gulf War shortly after his daughter Brianna was born. When he returned from action, his family moved and he was unable to locate them. Rick deeply desired to see his daughter, who is now age nineteen. On October 28th, his dream was granted and father and daughter were reunited again.
  • Mary Jane happily reunited with her Pinochle Club friends.
  • Darlene traveled to Boisie Idaho to see her sister for her 90th Birthday!

  • A romantic dinner in Paris was this couple's dream. Thanks to the Harrah's HERO dream team in Las Vegas - they spent a lovely time at the Paris Hotel for dinner.
  • Spending an evening together without any staff from the nursing home or any family to celebrate 67 years of marriage was this couple's dream!
  • Scott Roeben, a HERO volunteer in Las Vegas, caught this shot of an elder and a child and the connection between the two!
  • This elder wanted to have the Kiddish Cup that had been in her family for many generations, polished and the dents repaired so she could pass it on to her great-grand daughter.
  • These two elders had been separated in different ECCs and were reunited at a Dream Celebration in Georgia!
  • Two sisters who had not seen each other in 15+ years were reunited. Jeanette, 8, came by train from Detroit to be reunited with her sister, Jean Cole, 93, a resident of Timberview Healthcare in Gary, IN.
