Students Marcie Tellier and Megan Snell fulfilled Bob's dream through the Geogian College Therapeutic Recreation Second Wind Dreams program. Here is their story:
Originally Bob wanted to attend a Montreal Canadiens hockey game, but could not leave the center over night due to physical and medical conditions.
When booking tickets for the game when the Habs came to Toronto we unfortunately where not able to get accessible seating tickets with a companion seat and since Bob needs medical assistance throughout the day this seat alone for him was not going to make the cut.
After doing some research, I was able to get in touch with the Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment. This contact named Russ set up a day in which we were able to go to the Air Canada Center and watch the Montreal Canadiens Morning Skate when they were in town.
Lucky enough the day we arrived at the air canada centre, we met a gentleman named Jim Gregory, he was the form General Manager for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Mr. Gregory took the Montreal jersey we gave Bob and brought it to get signed by Bob favorite player Carey Price.
Bob then could not stop expressing how that day was the best day ever. And seeing Bob this happy melted my heart and it was my greatest pleasure to be apart of his big day.
