Homer loves eating the "Breakfast Skillet" at a local Hudson restaurant called "Yours Truly". He hasn't been able to go there since moving to our nursing facility, and the Second Wind Dreams Team wanted to take him there again. Transportation was arranged for him to take a wheel-chair accessible van. Mary and Mary from Laurel Lake staff also on the SWD Team, were planning to take Homer and his daughter for the famous "Breakfast Skillet". When the 4 arrived at the restaurant, 14 more family members had come to have a special breakfast with him! The restaurant gave Homer the front room and a long table where he could enjoy breakfast with his children, grandchildren, and siblings. It was a very memorable day, and he enjoyed the rest of his big breakfast leftovers the very next day!
