Last night was a big night for Jean. We went to the Capital Theatre to see “It’s a Wonderful Life”. She grew up in Lebanon and used to work on the square. She frequented the theatre as a child and an adult.
Jean told us a story about when she and her husband went to church on Sunday then came to the Theatre to see the 10 Commandments and had to leave the movie early so they could go back to church that night.
Jean got to enjoy this dream evening with her daughter, granddaughter and niece. Janet, Jean’s daughter, shared stories about when her parents brought her there as a child to see movies. It was a wonderful evening and the renovated theatre looked great and brought back memories for Jean and her family.
