Jim's family has not all been together in years. They are all coming together on Monday July 25th to celebrate his birthday so we are doing his Second Wind Dream. Jim recently had a fall and may be in rehab on this date. It does not matter as the family and we agreed no matter what, we will take the dream to him wherever he is on that date. His dream will be decorated to the hilt with a Mexican theme right down to the Pinata! A local musician will be retained to write and perform a song about his life with a Mexican flare...and a video will be taken to capture this live event to celebrate his life and family.
Exciting Dream Update:
Jim was in re-hab but the Dream must go on! We collaborated with the re-hab and the family was thrilled. The family had not all been together in over 12 years so finding a way for this to happen was so important as many had flew in to see him. Jim loves Mexican food and Tijuana Flats generously provided lunch for the entire family….(15). Publix provided the flowers, Kindred Care provided the photo albums. Elmcroft Second Wind Dream fund provided all the decorations and a very special hat that was embroider for him. He thinks it's way cool. Haven Hospice sponsored the entertainer who wrote/performed the song about Jim's life. Very special day!
