Family, friends and staff at Brightmoor Hospice held a very special graduation ceremony for Gracibelle Guimond on November 18 in her Dad's room at Brightmoor Hospice. Lou is a terminal cancer patient and wanted to make sure he saw her graduate.
Not only did he see her graduate, he had the honor of handing her the diploma.
East Coweta principal Stephen Allen asked for "the Lord to come to us to give us blessing and peace" and noted the "great spirit" that was in the Guimond's room at the time.
The room was decorated with the East Coweta colors of purple and gold as well as sparkling Christmas lights.
Brightmoor Chaplain Jack Landham told Graciblle "God loves you. As you are ready to go out into the grown-up world, God has your back."
