Susan's Second Wind Dream: Girl's Night Out Friday on February 17, 2012. Susan was born on May 5, 1943. She is adored by all at Elmcroft. She is attentive to the needs of her neighbors and always put others before herself. She is most proud of her two sons, Richard and Reed. This is what made this dream so much fun! Susan loves music and said that she would like to see the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. She mentioned that she would love to take a few friends and have a Girl's Night Out. With four orchestra level tickets donated by the Atlanta Symphony and Second Wind Dreams, Susan was able to invite Joyce and Nancy Lou to enjoy this wonderful experience with her. On Friday, plans were in place to make this an extraordinary day to honor Susan. Several new outfits were brought in for her to try on and pick for the evening's festivities. Susan doesn't enjoy shopping so- the store came to her! She picked out a fabulous outfit and shoes to wear to the Symphony. With the ladies dressed to dazzle for the evening, we met downstairs to present Susan with a dozen roses. We proceeded to go to Provino's Italian Restaurant for a delicious meal. After the meal we headed to downtown Atlanta for an evening of classical music. Susan was thrilled to see the city lights as we approached the theater. Valet parking was a convenience that gave her the chance to make a grand entrance. Before the show, we toured the venue and enjoyed the nightlife of Atlanta.
